CHAPTER SIX

I arose in the morning finding Drake still sleeping soundly on the other pillow. The walk to the bathroom is slightly awkward as I feel the soreness between my thighs from the acrobatics last night. I recall fondly how quickly I had submitted to him; it didn’t feel like submission though. He gave me nothing but pure pleasure. I move from the bathroom down the hall into the kitchen. It’s early on Sunday, especially not being much of a morning person. I convince myself that everything will look much clearer after a cup of coffee so I busy myself putting the coffee beans into the grinder before adding them into the machine to brew a pot.

“Mmm, that smells divine. Is there enough for me to have a cup?” This man is even sexier in the morning.

“Sure, I’ve made a whole pot.” He steps towards me surveying the bean grinder. “Do you want something to go with that?”

“I’m not sure what I have in the fridge; grocery day is Sunday.”

“Do you mind if I take a look?” he asks.

I shrug and gesture to the refrigerator, “Help yourself.”

He opens the fridge, removes several items, which at first glance doesn’t seem like they would make a meal.

His body is only covered in jeans from the night before and he hasn’t buttoned them. They are hanging loosely on his hips and I can see the ‘V’, following the thin line of hair running from under his navel down to into the half opened jeans.

“I’ll have these veggie omelets whipped up in a flash. Can you grab plates for me?” I pull out two plates, set them next to the stove then bring silverware and napkins to the table. Having a seat, I sit back to enjoy the show.

He dices up all the vegetables, placing them in a bowl. In another, he whips up the eggs and adds in the ricotta cheese, then pours the ingredients into the pan. “Oh, the spatula is in the long drawer on the left.” He grins, “I don’t need one.” With a flick of the wrist, the perfect circle was tossed into the air and lands back down on the opposite side in the pan. If I was dreaming, I didn’t want to wake up. Not only was he a rock god at sex, but he also cooked.

He brings over the two plates, sitting one in front of me as I sit sipping my coffee.

I start to feel some uncertainty, what am I doing with this man? Last night, I had not been what I considered drunk. However, I wasn’t stone sober either. There is no shame in a woman enjoying herself sexually. After all, he was the best sex I have EVER had. Drake did everything right, it was like he had a road map to my body. We sat at the small table enjoying breakfast, with no words between us; each of us eying the other in the light of day.

“Have I done something wrong?” Drake asks.
